Comments About the 2013 Rhyme Celebration:

Laurena McCarthy: What a dream as the curtain first opened! Thanks to Meg and Missy and anyone else that helped to make that a beautiful start to a stunning presentation of peace. My husband said that it was beautiful, emotional, and a real celebration of what is important in life. Thank you to all of those beautiful children that celebrated today. Does anyone have it on video? I missed the end as I was committed to another celebration, Girl Rising, offered through the Town of Brookfield. Watch for this next event that I would like to host for the City of Danbury and our community. I am lucky to have seen two incredible performances today by very talented children.

Judith Rubin:  Our kids are awesome and they have awesome teachers, too.  Thos of you who were downstairs missed the kids in the balcony singing along with Group 1 from the first note.  It was like watching a big family.  AIS is a trtue community in itself.  We are so happy to be part of this special place. Thanks.

Laura Shahinian Kara, MS. L.Ac., Diplomate NCCAOM:  I can’t stop talking about the show.  Our children were terrific! What a great message to teach them.  Thank you to all who were involved, especially their teachers.   You all did an incredible job!  I found myself tearing up several times! What a great way to bring all these kids together.

Dana Tracy, Spanish Teacher, Regional School District #10: It was a great evening everyone!  Thank you for organizing this Kate and to our hosts!  I have posted two new videos of this year's Rhyme Celebration performances if anyone would like them for posterity or for the COLT website.  Here is a link to my wiki to view them below.  There are three video's on my main page.  The first is last year's third and fourth grade performance for Lake Garda (Burlington) and Harwinton Consolidated (Harwinton) , this year's performance in Spanish and then the last is in Tamil.  https://studentweb.region10ct.org/groups/dtracy/
