Board of Directors Nomination Form for Coordinators
The Board of Directors of the Connecticut Council of Language Teachers consists of the Executive Committee (President, Vice-President/President-Elect, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and the Immediate Past President), Coordinators of Special Areas and Organizational Directors.
Organizational Directors are nominated by the organization which they will represent on the CT COLT Board of Directors. There are NINE Coordinators on the Board of Directors, one for each of the following areas: Advocacy, Seal of Biliteracy, Teacher of the Year, Membership, Student Events, Summer Institute, CT LILL, Community & Business Outreach and Hospitality. Coordinators may nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else by submitting the Board of Directors Nomination Form to the current president of the organization.
The CT COLT Board of Directors usually meets bi-monthly (September, November, January, March, and May) and conducts much of its business through committees and via e-mail.
